This movie is very encouraging. It is based on a true story of Michael Oher. A omeless youngster adopted by a rich family. The family treated him as a part of family and help him to discover his strength. A very touching movie. It is worth to let youngsters nowadays to learn from.

G Force

Nice movie!! This movie is so exciting! Can't take eyes away from it. The story about trained guinea pigs as special agents to US government. This movies is very educational, the message passed was "you must believe in yourself, then you are special". Strongly agree!! haha!!

Up

This is a cartoon about a young Carl Fredrickson meets a young girl, Ellie. They both like to adventure. They dream to go to a Lost Land in South America. Then, Ellie died because of old age. Carl remembered the promise to there, he starts his journey to the Lost Land by flying his house. Russell accidentally is in the house, so he joins Carl in the journey. The whole journey is interesting. It is quite worth to watch. Russell is so cute!!

17 again-Zac Efron

New movie from Zac Efron. This story is about Mike don't like his current status and wants to go back to his high school life. He got a chance to go back to 17 years old. He thinks he can restart everything again but finally he realizes he likes his old life with his wife and kids.

Haha!! Life is like that, we always blame on our current status, wish that we can return to redo. But, we never appreciate the life that we have now. Life is so short, we have to enjoy it.

Zac Efron is soooo....handsome. I rather like him in high school musical, so smart,handsome,cool......haha!!I am quite crazy about hsm, can watch them repeatedly!!!The songs are so nice!If you got a chance, don't forget to watch them!!

Coraline

This cartoon is about a young girl, Coraline just moved to a new house. She found a door that she can enter to have an alternate version of her life. At first, she likes the the another version of life so much but finally she found out that her 'other mother' wants to keep her forever and take away her real parents. She starts the journey to save her family to fight with the 'other mother'.

This is another good cartoon. It tells us that sometimes we quite addict to something that bring us joy without putting effort in it and it usually brings us side effect. We might face difficulty in real life but we have to be braved to solve it, then only the satisfaction will come to us.

Hotel for Dogs

Another movie from Emma Roberts! This story is about Andi (Emma Roberts) and her brother, Bruce (Jake T. Austin) cannot have a pet in their foster home. They find a shelter for the dog which is an abandoned hotel. Later on, they take a lot of strayed dogs to stay in the hotel. They take care of their needs. Bruce make use of his engineering talent to make a comfortable house for dogs. This is amazing! Finally, they turn the hotel into hotel for dogs, where dogs can have massage service, beautifying service......Some more, there is a pub for dog!

I like this movie especially the hotel, Bruce did the toilet, dining place, playground for the dogs which are very interesting. Besides that, the dogs are so cute!! It is quite worth to watch it.

Meteor: Path to Destruction

This is a movie about a meteor is going to hit the Earth. The scientists, Dr. Lehman (Christopher Llyod) and Imogen (Marla Sokoloff) discovered it in Mexica and send information to a Dr. in USA. They started to race with time to shoot off the meteor. The whole movie contains 2 episode and it is about 3 hours.

This movie is quite interesting and exciting. This movie shows a lot of cases happen in different areas in USA, while they showing the changing of location on the map, remind me about one game called sim safari, they looked similar.Haha!!

Mall Cop

This is a funny movie. It is a about Paul Blart (Kevin James) is a security guard in a mall. He always wants to be a cop but he fails to do that because he has low blood sugar. He falls in love with a lady, Amy (Jayma Mays) who owns a stall in the mall. At one night, a gang of criminals took over the mall, Paul tries to save the victims including Amy and he becomes hero. Finally, he get married with Amy.

The story is very entertaining. Paul is quite clumsy in the movie but it adds spice in the story. It is quite suitable for the whole family to watch. Enjoy!!

The Tale of Despereaux

This is cartoon about mouse and rat. Haha!! Now I only know that there is actually different between mouse and rat! The story is about a mouse, named despereaux who is very curious about the outside and brave, the worst thing to make his parent worried is he don't know how to afraid. For eg, when he looks at sword, instead of running away, he said beautiful. A rat whose name is Roscuro, he did something wrong and fell in the dungeon. He hate to live in darkness. Finally, they became friend and work together to save the princess.

This is another educational movie. When the princess refuse to forgive the rat, the rat suddenly became cruel and try to hurt the princess. At that moment, when the rat is going to hurt the princess, he realized that revenge actually can't help the situation and he learn to forgive. Haha! It is quite worth to watch this movie. Enjoy!!

PS: the mouse is so cute because he has a pair of big ears.!!

Slumdog Millionaire

This movie is about Jamal Malik (Dev Patel) who is about to answer the final question in the "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" But the day before, he was arrested of cheating in the show. They suspect him that how could a street kid can answer those questions. He started to tell the policemen his story of his life in the slum. The policemen believed him and let him to return to the show. Finally, he won in the show. One of the biggest motivation to him is her lover, Latika (Freida Pinto).

This movie started with a very interesting question:

"Jamal Malik is one question away from winning 20 millions rupees. How did he do it?

A. He cheated

B. He's lucky

C. He's a genius

D. It is written "

Before the credits, the answer was given as D.

All the questions in the "Who wants to be a millionaire?" are so coincidence to his adventure of his life. This is his destiny, he has the luck to win. Sometimes, a lot of things happen around us, we may feel that "why is it so coincident?" Haha! I think this is written, this is part of our life. What we have to do is to accept, adapt and enjoy.

Storm the Yard

This movie was shown in cinema in 2007. This movie is about dancing movie too. After the death of DJ's (Columbus Short) younger brother, a street dancer from Los Angeles enroled in the Truth University in Atlanta, Georgia. He met April (Meagan Good) in the college and attracted to her. Finally, he won in a competition and recover from his sadness in losing his brother.

Haha! Another post on dancing movie. I like this movie very much. The dancing skills of Columbus Short are fantastic especially during the competition. The last scene in the movie shows a quote of Martin Luther King,

"Intelligence plus character. That is the goal of true education."

This is meaningful. Nowadays, the education is just to ensure the students are intelligent enough to score for exam but their characters may be ignored. This is the sad things we are facing now......

Step Up

Tyler Gage(Channing Tatum) is a man that don't have any dreams and involves in crimes and violence. At one time, he and his best friends,Mac Carter (Damaine Radcliff) and Mac's little brother Skinny Carter (De'Shawn Washington) break in the Maryland School of Arts and commit vandalism. Tyler is arrested and sentenced to 200 hours of community service in the school. Nora Clark's (Jenna Dewan) is a student in the school. She is preparing her senior year showcase. So unlucky that her partner met an accident make her to look for another partner. Finally, Tyler becomes her partner in her showcase. With this performance, he steps up to a life that larger than he ever imagined.

This movie of course shows on dancing skills but it is also very educational. Although you are in the wrong track, if you make up your mind to stay away from them, there is always a way for you to success as long as you have dreams.

The songs in this movie are very nice esp 'Til Dawn'. The remix song is fantastic in the final part of the movie. This is another dancing movie that I like very much. So, nothing to do in the weekend? Try out this movie!!

Make it happen

I love dancing movies, no matter is hip hop, new jazz, ballroom dance......... Previously, I already wrote one post about dancing movie which is 'Shall we dance'. I am going to write more posts on this type of movies, so stay tune! The skill of dancing of the characters in the movies is so fantanstic, so admire them!!

Lauryn Kirk (Mary Elizabeth Windstead) is a young lady that like dancing very much. Her dream is to study in the Chicago School of Music and Dance. After rejection from the school, she worked in a club. From there, she learned up new style of dance. Finally, she went to the school for interview again and she got it.

I enjoy this movie very much. Her skill in dancing is very good especially when she danced in the second interview in the school. My expression is like 'Wow'!!! The songs in this movie are also very nice. For eg: Just dance - Lady Gaga, Beware of the dog - Jamelia, Love ya - unklejam...... It is quite worth to watch it. So, don't miss it.

My girlfriend is a Cyborg (我的女友是机器人)

This is a Japanese movie and very romantic! I am not going to write the summary in this post because you have to watch until the end only then you know the whole story. Normally, a lot of people will say 'oh............' at the end of the movie. Haha!! The girl in this movie is so pretty with her short hair. I like this movie because the story line is quite new and interesting. If you seldom watch Japanese movies, this is a good movie to try.

Bolt

Cartoon characters are very cute. I like the dog and the hamster in the movie, especially the hamster is fat and cute.haha!! This movie is about a dog, Bolt, and his owner, Penny, act in a show called Bolt. This show is about the dog has super power that can save Penny whenever she was in danger. This poor dog actually don't know these are all fake and always live in a stressful life, thought that somebody would take away Penny. He can't differentiate real life and show. At one time, accidentally he ran away from Penny and start his journey back to Penny. Throughout the journey, he learn to become a 'real' dog from his friend, a cat. Eventually, he knew how to differentiate between the real life and show.

Cartoon movies are very educational, I like them. Although they are simple, but we can learn a lot of things from there. This movie actually simulate our real life now, a lot of people don't know how to relax after work. This will lead to the problems that faced by the society, for eg: depression, insomnia, ......In their mind, they keep on thinking they have a lot of work to do, they can't finish them, tomorrow somemore work to come....... This is very sad. We have to learn how to release our tension. We need to rest so that we can go further. This is something that I always keep in my mind. You may say you can't but you must try.

Wild Child

This movie was on cinema in 2008. This is movies is about Poppy (Emma Roberts) who was very naughty and playful in Malibu. Her father sent her to England boarding school. Finally, she became a thoughtfull girl and learnt a lot of things from there.

I like this because Emma Roberts is very pretty.(Haha!!) She is so attractive in the prompt night and show her new jazz dance. I not so sure you all still remember, a movie called 'Aquamarine', she also played one of the character. Besides that, this movie also shows the beauty of friendship and teamwork. It is worth to watch. Try it!!

Shall We Dance

This movie was up on cinema in 2004. This movie is about the main character, John Clark(Richard Gere) who has a great job and lovely family. His life was wonderful but felt that he has something missing. Everyday, he would see a lady, Paulina(Jennifer Lopez) who staring with a lost expression through the window of a dance studio while on his way back. Finally, he signed up a dancing class. At first, he actually wanted to meet her but he slowly build up his interest in dancing. Something worst was he didn't tell his wife about the dancing class. His wife thought that he had an affair with other lady and the conflict started between two of them. Eventually, his wife found out actually he wanted to find something to fill his emptiness in life.

I like this movie very much. This actually happen in our real life. Someone leads a wonderful life but his/her mind is empty. Like the above the character, he fills his empty mind by dancing. He felt happier when dancing. This is something that lack in our life today. Everyday, we work from morning till evening. We can feel that life is boring. It's time to start a hobby that can make us satisfy. From there, you will feel your life is full of colour!
